PRP Therapy

Natural rejuvenation method using platelet-rich plasma derived from the patient's own blood. Renews, revitalizes and rejuvenates the skin.

PRP Therapy (Treatment with Your Own Blood)

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma application. It involves taking a small amount of blood from a person, processing it to separate its components, and injecting the resulting platelet-rich plasma back into the same person.

How Does It Work?

Platelets are cells in the blood that enable clotting and contain growth factors that repair damaged vessels and tissues. When tissue damage occurs, platelets initiate the repair process. In PRP therapy, a much higher concentration of platelets and their growth factors can be delivered to the target area than what blood circulation normally provides.

Skin Rejuvenation

Skin aging, like wound healing, involves the loss of certain physical properties. For skin rejuvenation, we mimic what the body does during wound healing.

When concentrated platelets from plasma are injected under the skin, their growth factors stimulate collagen production and new capillary formation, enabling rapid skin renewal. The result is skin renewal, rejuvenation and revitalization.

Procedure Duration

30-45 minutes. Normal daily activities can be resumed immediately. Mild redness on the first day is normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many PRP sessions are needed?

Typically 3 sessions at 3-4 week intervals are recommended. Annual maintenance of 1-2 sessions is then advised.

Are there side effects of PRP?

Since your own blood is used, allergic reaction risk is very low. Mild redness and swelling at injection points resolve within 24-48 hours.
