What is Ear Surgery?

Hygiene and Wound Care: Keeping the surgical area clean is essential. Antiseptic solutions should be used as recommended.
Physical Activity: Heavy sports should be avoided for the first few weeks. Sleeping on the back is recommended to avoid pressure on the ears.
Follow-up: Your doctor monitors recovery through follow-up examinations. Non-dissolving stitches are typically removed within 1-2 weeks.
Full Recovery: Swelling and sensitivity largely decrease within 2-3 weeks. However, ears may take several months to reach their final shape. Most people return to work or school within 7-10 days.
