What is a Brow Lift?
Eyebrows are an important aesthetic structure on our face. Positioned above the eyes, they directly reflect your mood along with your gaze. As we age, tissues loosen and brows begin to sag under gravity.
Differences in brow position can give an angry, harsh, tired, sad, old or insecure expression. Brow lift surgery corrects the negative expression caused by brow position, providing a more vibrant, youthful and confident appearance.
Botox Brow Lift
Very effective in certain patient groups. Particularly good results in patients in their 20s-30s with minimal drooping. Advantages include no anesthesia, office-based procedure and no recovery time. The disadvantage is needing repetition every 4-6 months.
Thread Lift Brow Lift
A method performed under local anesthesia. Incisions of 1 cm are made within the hairline and brows are suspended with non-dissolving or slow-dissolving sutures. Quick application under local anesthesia is an advantage. However, brows may return near their original position in 1-2 years.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
Performed under general anesthesia. Incisions are made within the hairline at the temple region. Tissues are freed and brows are repositioned and elevated. The effect lasts longer than other methods. Suture lines are hidden within the hairline.
You can usually be discharged the same day or the next day. Early swelling and bruising may occur.
