Buttock Implant
For patients who complain about small buttocks and do not have enough fat tissue for injection, or who do not want fat injection, buttock implants can be placed directly for enlargement. The underlying cause is usually insufficient development of the gluteal muscles. When these muscles are underdeveloped, the buttocks are flat and lack posterior projection.
Buttock implants are generally placed inside or behind the gluteal muscles. The implants used function similarly to breast implants but are firmer in consistency. Due to their firm consistency, there is no risk of rupture.
Surgery and Recovery
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Incisions are made in the natural crease between the buttocks, leaving no visible external scars.
We recommend avoiding sleeping on your back for the first week. Patients can return to social life in the first week. Sports and physical exercise can begin after the sixth week.
